A farm renowned for its prime lamb production in Central West NSW has been sold in two parcels.

The Australian Financial Review reports that Sommercroft cottage, near Wellington, has sold for a reported $1.5 million.

The property fronts on to Blathery Creek and is suited for cereal cropping.

The main Gurrabah homestead is still for sale at $430,000.

Sam Triggs, of Meares & Associates, in conjunction with Bruce Bryant of Peter Milling and Company, brokered the sale.
