Milvate farm stays in the family

01 Sep, 2010 04:00 AM
Alton Park at Milvate, between Young and Cootamundra on the western slopes of NSW, has been sold to a member of its long-time family owners for about $1.3 million.

According to The Australian Financial Review, the 440-hectare property has dams in every paddock and water troughs through to paddocks.

Improvements include machinery, shearing and hay sheds, while the home has six silos with a storage capacity of 300 tonnes.

The family has owned the property for many years.

Holman Tolmie Stock and Station agents marketed it.
