Four Arrows sells North Tahara

29 Mar, 2010 09:27 AM
THE Price family's Four Arrows group has sold its North Tahara property near Wagga Wagga in the NSW Riverina, to a company associated with Melbourne stockbroker Malcolm Shippen.

The property was for sale at around $10 million but the sale price has not been disclosed, The Australian Financial Review reports.

North Tahara is an amalgamation of more than 4800 hectares that has been improved by Four Arrows into a breeding, fattening and cropping operation.

Last year, Mr Price's son Brandon Price said that improvements to North Tahara included a new shearing complex, and the renovation of all the houses.

The carrying capacity is around 29,000 dry sheep equivalents plus cropping.
