Langdene Merino rams to $8000

30 Sep, 2008 09:37 AM
Langdene Merino rams have sold to $8000, with 73 selling from 78 to average an impressive $1757.

The result lifted the average by $141 from last year's average for the Cox families' annual on-property sale, held at Dunedoo on Friday (September 26).

Stonehouse Grazing Company, a new Tasmania buyer, took the $8000 top-priced ram, overcoming strong bidding competition from local producers, the Darlington family, Gulgong.

* A full sale report will appear in The Land, NSW, October 2 edition.
