Cows with calves reach $1150 at Wauchope

NEW England buyers flocked to the Wauchope sale yards for the last store sale of the year held on Saturday, December 6.

The complete dispersal of the Stevenson and Scott trust cattle, “Byabarra”, Wauchope featured on the day and drew a further 58 vendors to the sale and resulted in a yarding of 2132 head of cattle.

Cows and calves topped the sale, selling for $1150, while grown steers and joined heifers both topped at $820.
