A winning streak has hit the next level for the champion exhibitors at the Murray Grey judging last Friday.
Dr Sandra Johnson and Margaret Hunter, Elizabeth Fields Murray Grey stud, Yass, have won the grand champion female award for four years running - each time with different cattle.
This year, the Murray Grey breeders went one better and took out the supreme exhibit award in a field of small but quality competition.
The champion cow was 30-month-old Elizabeth Fields Gemma B2, who went into the ring with a seven-month-old calf at foot.
After winning the senior champion female, the cow was awarded the Manooka Perpetual Trophy for grand champion female, making it the fourth year in a row Ms Johnson and Ms Hunter had won the trophy.
