Hillybilly Princess crowned in Royal ute show

14 Apr, 2009 12:57 PM
A 2002 Holden Commodore ute, owned by Karen Joyce, Murrumbateman, won the 2009 Sydney Royal Best Ute Competition.

Karen’s ute, themed the Hillbilly Princess, was one of 24 which entered the competition this year.

The judges were impressed with Karen’s knowledge of the ute, and how it was presented.

The Hillbilly Princess ute featured signwriting, an elaborate tail gate, a purple interior, and flag-adorned five post bull bar.

Entrants in the competition were drawn from across the State, and from Victoria.
