From robotics to udder health, the 2010 Australian Dairy Conference, which kicks off today (WED) on the NSW South Coast has it all for the 21st Century milk producer.

Hundreds of farmers from throughout the country will converge on Wollongong over the next three days for the annual event which features an agenda packed with cutting edge technologies and the latest in dairying trends.

Global dairy analysts, international producers and industry leaders and nutrionists and veterinarians who are at the top of their field will join the speaker list.

Topics include everything from the massive changes occuring in the Chinese dairy industry to how 'comfortable cows' can provide a dollar advantage.

Yesterday, several bus loads of delegates took a pre-conference tour to three progressive South Coast dairy farms.
