Laurie elected for record fourth term

29 Jul, 2008 02:43 PM
Walcha farmer Jock Laurie has been re-elected as President of the NSW Farmers’ Association for a fourth term, becoming only the second President in the history of the Association to do so.

Mr Laurie was re-elected unopposed on the first day of the NSW Farmers' Association annual conference in Sydney today.

Mr Laurie is a fourth generation grazier from Walcha in northern NSW, where he and his family run fine wool sheep, cross bred lambs and cattle.
