Flooding continues to affect various roads around the state.
Overnight the Gwydir Highway has been closed in both directions between Collarenebri and Walgett and the Kamilaroi Highway has been closed in both directions between Walgett and Brewarrina.
Additionally the following roads are still closed or affected by flooding:
In the north:
The Buxner Highway is closed in both directions between Yetman and Boggabilla.
The Gwydir River Bridge is closed in both directions on the Gwydir Highway at Gravesend.
In the west:
The Gwydir Highway is closed between Moree and Collarenebri.
The Kamilaroi Highway is closed at Wee Waa between Narrabri and Burren Junction.
The Carnarvon Highway is closed between Garah to Mungindi.
Additionally:
There are travel restrictions on the Newell Highway at Moree between Boggabilla and Narrabri. Loads exceeding 3.5m wide or 80 tonnes gross mass are not to travel on the Newell Highway until further notice. These restrictions apply north of Narrabri and north Coonamble. Agricultural vehicles are exempt from these restrictions.
The Pacific Highway and New England Highway remain reopen.
