Tandou stake up for grabs

18 Feb, 2010 09:19 AM
MCGRATHNICOL has been appointed liquidator of a stake in listed farmer Tandou by its largest shareholder, Swiss firm Volcot Holdings AG, leaving a 30.59 per cent holding up for grabs.

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group confirmed to The Australian Financial Review that it had called in Anthony McGrath and Shaun Fraser of McGrathNicol as joint receivers of the Tandou holding of cotton trader Volcot.

“We appointed McGrathNicol yesterday and they will be selling the Tandou shares on our behalf,” an ANZ spokesman said.

McGrathNicol would not comment.
