Norway buys up Tandou share

23 Mar, 2010 09:04 AM
NORWAY'S central bank, Norges Bank, has taken up a 3 per cent stake in listed agriculture company Tandou at a price of 40¢ a share.

The move follows the sale of Volcot Holdings' 30.59 per cent stake in Tandou to three specialty funds, Ecofin, Ecofin Power & Opportunities and Water Asset Management.

The Australian Financial Review reports the price paid by Norges Bank is above Guinness Peat Group's bid for the whole of Tandou at 33¢ a share.
