BRI Australia has appointed Mark Allison as its new chief executive officer.
Mr Allison has previously held positions of managing director for Landmark Operations Limited, Wesfarmers Rural Division and Wesfarmers CSBP, as well as the general manager of Crop Care Australasia and Incitec Fertilisers.
Most recently Mr Allison was CEO and managing director for Jeminex Limited, a mining and construction products and services company.
"The Australian grains industry is going through an unprecedented level of change at the moment and so too is BRI Australia," Mr Allison said.
"I’m looking forward to joining the organisation to drive its future strategic direction.
"BRI has tremendous capacity to deliver a range of unique products and services right along the supply chain for the grain production, grain processing and grain based food industries."
BRI chairman Tom Keene said Mr Allison's management and strategic experience would stand BRI Australia in good stead to become a "market leading organisation that growers right through to consumers will turn to for independent advice and research, training and product development".
