United Dairyfarmers of Victoria President Doug Chant will be returned unopposed for his fourth and final term.
Nominations for UDV president closed last week ahead of the UDV annual conference and AGM on June 24.
Under Victorian Farmers Federation policy, elected presidents can serve a maximum of four years, making this Mr Chant's final term as president.
Mr Chant said in the coming year he would be working hard to consolidate the changes that have occurred in his three years at the helm.
"We have boosted the social aspect of UDV membership and encouraged more members to be involved with the branch information nights," Mr Chant said.
"We've seen 600 young people join the Young Dairy Development Program – the task now is to show these young dairy people that they are welcome to the UDV and endeavour to work closer with them.
"While dairy farmers are currently enjoying good farmgate prices amid the world demand for milk, the increasing input costs are eating away our earnings.
"The UDV will use the powerful voice of its grass roots membership to keep the interests of Victorian dairy farmers on the table of the decision makers."
The theme of this year's annual conference is 'Leaping Forward', incorporating support for young farmers and farm innovations.
Labour shortages in the dairy industry and emissions trading opportunities for farmers will be key discussion topics.
