PM's ute coming to Deniliquin ute muster

01 Sep, 2009 03:45 PM
AUSTRALIA'S most infamous ute is set to make an appearance at the Deniliquin Ute Muster.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's Mazda ute will appear at the festival on the NSW Labour Day weekend next month.

Queensland car dealer John Grant, who loaned the ute to Mr Rudd, has agreed to drive the vehicle to Deniliquin.

Festival director John Harvie was rapt.

"It will be great for the thousands of people to see the infamous ute in its glory," Mr Harvie said.

"We look forward to Mr Grant and the ute attending."

Organisers have invited Mr Rudd to attend the muster.

They are yet to hear whether he will accept.
