BUYERS bidded strongly on first-cross ewe lambs at Thursday's annual Yarrawonga sheep sale, driving prices to $162 a head. And while crowd attendance was considerably down compared to last month’s market, Trent Head, Elders, Yarrawonga, said ewe lambs presented well on the day, despite the extreme conditions the region had experienced over the past week, and returned solid results for vendors.
